Artist Trust
Fellowships award Washington State artists based on artistic merit,
demonstrated ability, professional achievement and continuing dedication to an
artistic discipline.
Artist Trust has been providing support to artists of
Washington State through cash grants since the first Fellowships were awarded
in 1988. Grants provide artists with a means to continue exploring their creative
paths, and in so doing enrich all of our lives.

April 2013 Exhibit & Award
Texas National 2013, a competitive national exhibition in the Cole Art Center at The School of Art at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. April - June 2013. Renowned art historian Dr. Peter Selz juried the exhibit. Selz is a past curator at the Museum of Modern Art and founding director of the University Art Museum at Berkley. He has curated shows on Alberto Giacometti, Morris Graves and Mark Rothko and has written for many art publications. The recipient of numerous awards, he is the author of “The Art of Engagement.”
